On 2 October, Leicester’s Curve theatre will be hosting Pack Up Your Troubles the Lord Lieutenant of Leicestershire’s Concert to commemorate the centenary of the First World War.
Leicester’s Curve theatre has announced it is holding auditions for its brand new musical adaptation of Sue Townsend’s The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 ¾.
On Monday 11 August, Leicester’s Curve theatre will be taken over by its highly talented Young Arts Entrepreneurs (YAEs) for a day of completely free innovative and inspiring workshops and performances.
Over 4,000 students from De Montfort University (DMU) will graduate in spectacular style at Leicester’s Curve theatre and will be watched by over 13,000 guests from 12 – 19 July 2014.
CURVE TO STAGE THE WORLD PREMIÈRE OF SUE TOWNSEND’S THE SECRET DIARY OF ADRIAN MOLE AGED 13 ¾ - THE MUSICAL
Join Leicester’s favourite teenager, Adrian Mole, in Curve’s brand new musical which premieres in Spring 2015. With book and lyrics by Jake Brunger and music and lyrics by Pippa Cleary, this new musical of Sue Townsend’s best seller will open on 17 March 2015, with previews from 7 March, and runs until 4 April.
Curve today announces the appointment of Nikolai Foster as the company’s new Artistic Director. Foster takes up the position in January 2015, succeeding Paul Kerryson who steps down as Artistic Director at the end of this year, after 22 years in post.
Leicester’s Curve theatre has today launched a new fundraising campaign to enable over 100 fostered and looked after young people from across Leicester to have an inspiring and educational experience at the theatre.
