Shane Richie will play Archie Rice in a brand new production of John Osborne‘s The Entertainer – chosen as one of the greatest plays of the 20th century by Michael Billington.
Directed by Sean O’Connor, this innovative adaptation will open here on 27 Aug, before touring the UK until November. For the first time since its premiere in 1957, this classic play will also be given a vibrant new setting.

Presented against a funky backdrop of 80s music and culture, this drama will explore cultural conflict, gender equality, class and generational strife.
My Beautiful Laundrette will open here at Curve on 20 Sep, before touring to Everyman Theatre Cheltenham, Leeds Playhouse, Belgrade Theatre Coventry and Birmingham Repertory Theatre.
Make it a magical Christmas with our Made at Curve production of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. Experience this ‘terrific dose of pure escapism’ (The Times) as this feel-good family musical lights up London’s Dominion Theatre for a strictly limited season from November 2019.
Reprising their acclaimed roles are Danny Mac (Sunset Boulevard, Strictly Come Dancing Finalist) as Bob Wallace and Olivier nominated Dan Burton (Gypsy, Singin’ in the Rain, Jersey Boys) as Phil Davis. This ‘glorious revival’ (The Telegraph) is brought to life by our acclaimed Artistic Director Nikolai Foster (Annie, Breakfast at Tiffany’s) and two-time Olivier Award-winning choreographer Stephen Mear (Mary Poppins).
A timeless romantic comedy to warm hearts of all ages, White Christmas features the classic songs Blue Skies, Sisters and the most famous festive song of all… White Christmas.
