Supporters Cycle For Curve

Thu 24 Sep 2020

A team of Curve supporters has completed a sponsored bike ride across Leicester in aid of the theatre, so far raising over £1,000.

The group’s route passed a number of theatrical locations across the city, including the sites of former theatres and places which inspired Sue Townsend‘s The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 3/4, which became a Made at Curve musical in 2015, transferring to the West End last year.

Curve, a registered charity (no. 230708), has been closed to the public for performances since 16 Mar due to Covid-19 but has continued to create and share content digitally.

Curve’s Chief Executive Chris Stafford and Artistic Director Nikolai Foster said:

“We’re humbled and incredibly grateful to our team who are riding past Leicester’s theatrical landmarks today for our theatre. Huge thanks to them and everybody who has donated so far. If you haven’t donated, anything you can spare helps us to navigate these challenging times and is massively appreciated.”
