Leicester’s Curve theatre will stage the first new UK production of iconic musical Billy Elliot.
The Made at Curve production will be directed by the theatre’s Artistic Director Nikolai Foster and is set to run exclusively at Curve for six weeks only, 7 July to 14 August 2022. The musical will be choreographed by Lucy Hind (Girl From the North County, The Last Ship) with full casting to be announced in due course.
Final casting was announced today for the smash-hit Leeds Playhouse production of C.S. Lewis’ classic The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, which opens its major tour of the UK and Ireland at Leicester’s Curve theatre 2 - 13 November 2, 2021. TV and theatre star Samantha Womack completes the cast to play Narnia’s evil White Witch.
Curve theatre has announced plans to increase its engagement with local young people by launching new Curve Youth and Community Company (CYCC) hubs across Leicester schools.
Curve theatre in Leicester has today revealed the full cast of its Christmas musical A Chorus Line, including world famous dancer Adam Cooper and West End and Curve favourite Carly Mercedes Dyer.

In the latest episode of Curve in Conversation, host Martin Ballard steps into the rehearsal room of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof to speak with cast members Siena Kelly (Maggie) and Oliver Johnstone (Brick).
