Photographer Ellie Kurttz writes about the very first step of capturing our Made at Curve production of West Side Story – the promotional photoshoot, which took place in the streets surrounding Curve.
Shooting all the steps of West Side Story was a life time experience. From our first publicity shoot I could already feel I was witnessing something special.
This image we shot outside, using a mix of sunlight and flash in order to create shadows giving the image a documentary and cinematic quality.
