CURVE, THEATRE ROYAL BATH PRODUCTIONS AND MAYFLOWER THEATRE SOUTHAMPTON ANNOUNCE NEW UK TOUR OF BEAUTIFUL - THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL

Curve, Theatre Royal Bath Productions and Mayflower Theatre Southampton have today announced plans to launch a new UK tour of the Olivier, Tony and Grammy Award-winning musical, Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, opening at Curve in February 2022.

Initial casting announced for The Osmonds: A New Musical

The actors who will be playing the five Osmond brothers in the world premiere of THE OSMONDS: A New Musical are Ryan Anderson as Merrill Osmond, Jamie Chatterton as Alan Osmond, Alex Lodge as Jay Osmond, Danny Nattrass as Wayne Osmond and Joseph Peacock as Donny Osmond. The UK & Ireland tour begin at Leicester’s Curve on 3 February 2022 and will run through to 3 December 2022.

Rehearsed reading of A Raisin in the Sun and Black History Month programme announced

October marks Black History Month, and we're pleased to announce a programme of events to mark the occasion including a rehearsed reading of Lorraine Hansberry's landmark drama A Raisin in the Sun, on Tue 26 Oct.

Produced in partnership with Curve Associate Company Serendipity and supported by Leicester-based music licensing company PPL PRS, the reading will be followed by a special BlackChat after-show discussion led by Serendipity, with reflections on the role playwrights across the world have had in sharing stories of Black lived experiences. Directed by Amanda Bright, full casting for A Raisin in the Sun at Curve will be announced in due course.

Other Black History Month events include Akeim Toussaint Buck's Reckoning on Fri 22 Oct and two celebratory events from our friends at Kainé - Better Together (12 Oct) and Yes You Can (28 Oct).
