As well as audiences seeing our productions here at Curve, more and more people across the UK and beyond are seeing our work on tour.

Throughout the last year, Curve co-productions and commissions have played to over 250,000 people in 48 cities nationwide.

Pink Sari Revolution

A Curve, Belgrade Theatre Coventry and West Yorkshire Playhouse co-production in association with English Touring Theatre.

An explosive new drama from “one of the most dynamic playwrights around” (Hindustan Times) Purva Naresh, and internationally renowned journalist Amana Fontanella-Khan (The Guardian, Reuters, Vogue India), Pink Sari Revolution explores the real life struggle of the 400,000-member strong Gulabi Gang and its formidable leader, Sampat Pal.

Roald Dahl’s George’s Marvellous Medicine

A Curve and Rose Theatre Kingston co-production.

This production of George’s Marvellous Medicine is our fourth Roald Dahl adaptation following The Twits, The Witches – which were also co-produced with the Rose – and most recently Fantastic Mr. Fox, a co-production with Nuffield Southampton Theatre which played to audiences at the Lyric Hammersmith over the summer.

Joining Director Julia Thomas for David Wood’s imaginative and fun-filled adaptation of the much loved classic tale will be Designer Morgan Large, Composer Tasha Taylor-Johnson (who is supported by the Cameron Mackintosh Resident Composer Scheme), Lighting Designer Jack Weir, Sound Designer David Gregory and Casting Director Kay Magson.

An Officer and a Gentleman – The Musical

Presented by Jamie Wilson Productions.

We are very excited to announce the world premiere of An Officer and a Gentleman – The Musical, which will open here at Curve on 6 Apr 2018 before embarking on a UK and Ireland tour.

Directed by our Artistic Director Nikolai Foster, the musical includes the hit song from the movie, Up Where We Belong, along with 80s classics such as Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Toy Soldiers and Material Girl. The musical will also feature one of the most iconic romantic scenes ever portrayed on screen.
