Windrush: Better Together

This unforgettable evening will celebrate the 75th anniversary of remarkable contributions of the Windrush Generation and their incredible journeys since the arrival of the Empire Windrush in 1948.

This night will also celebrate 75 years of Leicestershire Music who have worked to inspire young people in the city and county to make music, since Eric Pinkett’s initial vision in 1948.

The Better Together Showcase brings together a tapestry of performances and presentations showcasing rich cultural heritage and host a choir of children sharing a medley of music representative of the joint 75 years celebration.
