Abda Khan was born in Bradford in 1969 to immigrant parents who moved to the UK from Pakistan in the 1960’s. She was the first in the family to go on to higher education and read Law at Manchester undertaking her training and post qualification experience in Yorkshire.

Abda is married and moved to the Midlands in 1995 where she set up her own law firm. Abda was inspired to write ‘Stained‘ as a result of the many experiences she has had as a result of living and working within the Asian community, especially pertaining to the challenges faced by Asian women.
