Curve is one of the UK’s leading producing theatres and our productions have achieved widespread critical acclaim, attracting audiences from across the UK and beyond.
Our artistic aspiration is to grow our national and international reputation for creating, commissioning and touring brand new productions. Our cutting edge facilities and technical expertise means that the world’s best producers choose us to premiere new shows and open major national tours.
Curve is one of the most exciting theatres in the country, and working here is more than earning a day’s pay. We believe that everyone has a desire to belong, contribute and be recognised and so needs to be given real ownership and responsibility. We encourage you to be creative and have a positive attitude working as part of a team with integrity. In return, we expect you to want to do the best you can, to get involved, to take responsibility and be willing to learn.
Our values are Creativity, Customer Focus, Team Work, Pride & Leadership. As a registered charity, we are driven to positively contribute to our community through access to the arts. This focus generates a level of creativity, passion and enthusiasm within our team and is reflected in the way we work and the results they produce.
Developing young talent is central to the work we do at Curve, and for secondary school and University students considering a career in the arts, we are pleased to offer a range of regular opportunities to take part in work experience placements at our unique theatre. These range from one-day career days to one-week placements across all of our departments, where participants will discover the different areas and functions of a leading producing theatre.
Keep an eye on this page as we will be advertising work experience placements for Year 10 students this Nov 2016.
As one of the UK’s leading producing theatres, Curve strives to attract and appoint the very best talent to join our team.
With over 100 people working in our building, we offer a variety of career opportunities across all departments including our artistic, communications, development, events & catering, facilities, finance, hospitality, human resources, ICT, operations, technical and ticket office teams.
We are committed to equality of opportunity and diversity of approach, welcoming applications from every sector reflecting the diversity of our communities. We are committed to managing a fair and equitable recruitment and selection process.
