Charlie and the Chocolate Factory The Musical just announced for Christmas 2026!
We’re delighted to announce Roald Dahl’s magical and much-loved story of CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY will be spectacularly brought to life this Christmas in our thrilling new Made at Curve production.
Directed by Curve Artistic Director Nikolai Foster (KINKY BOOTS, LEGALLY BLONDE, THE SOUND OF MUSIC) and featuring songs including ‘The Candy Man’, ‘The Oompa Loompa Song’ and of course, the unforgettable ‘Pure Imagination’, this timeless classic is a dazzling mix of theatrical magic and sweet nostalgia for all the family, creating memories lasting longer than an Everlasting Gobstopper.

WAITRESS CASTING REVEALED
We’re thrilled to reveal that Carrie Hope Fletcher will be extending her run in the UK tour of WAITRESS and will play the leading role of Jenna at Curve this Summer.
Carrie will be joined by Sandra Marvin as Becky, Evelyn Hoskins as Dawn and Les Dennis as Joe.

Mother and daughter duo Rachel and Rebecca have been Curve regulars for the last twelve years, visiting over 100 times since first attending in 2014. The musical tells the story of four strangers trapped inside a public toilet. Meet Zo (Grace Towning), the ultra-woke activist, Andrew (Matt Corner), the Lycra-clad city banker on his way home, Finlay (Ivano Turco), a sweat-soaked stress-case and Laura (Cole Dennis), the people pleaser on the way to their wedding, in PUBLIC – THE MUSICAL playing from Sat 30 May – Sat 13 Jun.

CQ Earlies
On the second Saturday of each month, we host CQ Earlies – fun, free, and creative sessions for children and families.
This month, let’s get our vocal chords going with an introduction to voice with Mary Bonam. Join Mary to discover your inner voice, how to use it to create characters and also make beautiful music with it.
The workshop will culminate in creating a group vocal orchestra!

Learn with top artists in Curve Classroom
Since January, we’re proud to have supported home-schooling during the third national lockdown with our educational initiative, Curve Classroom.
The free sessions cover a range of topics for all ages and are delivered by a host of leading artists including performers Molly Lynch, Garry Robson and Hareet Deol, Designers Grace Smart and Kate Unwin, Director Julia Thomas, Choreographers Arlene Phillips and Mel Knott, Writers Jess Green and Rob Ward, as well as a number of Midlands-based artists local to Curve in Leicester.
