PARKING
Important Update regarding Parking Around Curve
We have been made aware that National Car Parks (NCP), which operates several nearby car parks, has entered into administration and will close a number of its Leicester branches at 11:59pm on Friday 27 March 2026. Unfortunately, this list includes Rutland Centre (the site next to Curve), as well as the sites at Abbey Street, Lee Circle and East Street.
In the interest of continued access to Curve for audiences driving in, we wanted to make you aware of alternative parking arrangements. These can be found below, including information on parking rates as they currently stand, the approximate walking distance to Curve, and access provisions. We do however advise you check the car park’s own website in advance of travelling for the latest details on tariffs and opening times.

Friday 27th March is the last day customers will be able to park at the site, with the Car Park closing at 11:59pm.
No, currently Curve customers would not receive a discount at alternative car parks.
We do not know if the car park will open again under a different operator, but if we receive any further information, we will contact customers as soon as we are able.
Whilst we cannot guarantee car parking space availability at any given time, we’d like to highlight the following car parks have a large number of spaces along with access provision.

Highcross Shopping Centre (John Lewis, LE1 4QJ/Rooftop, LE1 4FY) – Two multi-storey car parks, with cheaper day rates available at their website. After 5pm, parking evening flat rate is £2.50 until 6am the following day.

Leicester Railway Station Car Park (LE1 1PG) – Daily off-peak evening flat rate £2, Monday – Sunday 18:00 – 2:30.

Haymarket Centre Multi-Storey (LE1 3HR) – Hourly rate, £6.30 for up to four hours.

Curve visitors can park in the multi-storey NCP Rutland Centre Car Park adjacent to Curve for £7.95*.
If you are parking at Rutland Centre NCP between the hours of 5pm and 2am, you can access a cheaper rate of £7.95 if you pay via the NCP ParkPass App, or £9 if you pay your parking at the machines located in the NCP on the day.
Alternatively, present your white ticket at the Box Office, Green Room Café or Stage Door Bar during your visit, and your ticket can be validated for £7.95.
If choosing to park at the NCP Rutland Centre, please be aware that there may be queues to enter or exit at busy periods, and there may be a limited number of spaces available at peak times (midweek and Sat matinees). Customers are advised that our discounted rate is not valid in the short stay NCP Rutland Centre Car Park just behind the multi-storey.

All Leicestershire bus services have stops within a 3 to 10 minute walk of Curve. Services that stop on or near Charles Street, Humberstone Gate or at Haymarket Bus Station are the closest.
Regional bus services terminate at St Margaret’s Bus Station, Gravel Street, LE1 3AG (12 minutes walk from Curve).

By Train
Leicester Train Station is less than 10 minutes walk away via Charles Street.
London to Leicester is just over one hour via East Midlands Railway, and there are also regular direct services operated from Derby, Sheffield and Nottingham.
