Curve has been awarded the Best Large Visitor Attraction at the Leicester and Leicestershire Excellence in Tourism Awards that took place on 20 November at the Mercure Leicester The Grand Hotel.

These prestigious annual awards, established by LeicesterShire Promotions, celebrate the excellent work that the wide range of attractions, accommodation providers, restaurants, pubs and events in Leicester and Leicestershire undertake to ensure visitors have the best possible experience.

Fiona Allan, Chief Executive at Curve commented:

“We are delighted that Curve has again been recognised as a significant visitor attraction for the city and county. Over the past few years our team has worked hard to increase the reasons for members of the public to visit us – including hosting regular art exhibitions, a programme of free performances and workshops, our new monthly Family Days, and making our café a great lunchtime or meeting spot, with good coffee, a great menu and free wifi.  And it’s worked – we had over 100,000 casual visitors last year, who came to Curve not to see a show, but to soak up the creative atmosphere of this unique visitor attraction.”
