In this workshop you will get to explore exciting ways to tell a story through dance and physical theatre. Expect to learn new skills that draw from contemporary and hiphop dance, and delve into story-telling through movement.

Si Rawlinson:
Si Rawlinson is an artist with a background in dance, choreography, and physical theatre. He is Artistic Director of Wayward Thread, a current Resident Creative at Curve, and a former Associate Artistic Director of the arts organisation, Kakilang. Si has also performed with critically-acclaimed companies, including being a lead puppeteer in the Royal Shakespeare Company‘s Olivier-Award-winning MY NEIGHBOUR TOTORO (2022-23 and 2023-24), now running in London’s West End.

Si’s work as an independent artist has been presented at venues across the UK, including Sadler’s Wells, Southbank Centre, the Barbican, The Place, Birmingham Hippodrome, Nottingham Playhouse, and Curve. He has worked with acclaimed artists including Gary Clarke, Alesandra Seutin, and Requardt & Rosenberg.
