Description
Get creative and develop your acting and devising skills, make friends and create a whole new play in a day!
Led by Lorrine Douglas, this workshop is an opportunity for young people to develop their skills, make new friends and get creative. The group will devise a short play from a stimulus; this could be a title, a phrase, a poem or headline that sparks the imagination! Through a series of improvisation tasks, drama techniques, ensemble and individual work, you will structure a play with a message from young voices. Family and friends will be able to watch what they have created together as a team, at the end of the day.
Age Guidance: Suitable for people aged 8 – 13 years.
Workshop Time: 10am – 5pm
“They enjoyed all of it! The workshop was really good and was great to see the young peoples work at the end.” Summer Play in a Day Participant Family Member
