Othello Theatre Day

Learn how Frantic Assembly have put their own electrifying take on Shakespeare‘s Othello and how this dark tragedy is being brought to life at our Theatre Day.

This two-hour, interactive session will be hosted on stage in our Studio Theatre, offering exclusive insights into the behind-the scenes process of creating a Frantic Assembly production. Through fantastic demonstrations and discussions, you will explore the show from a technical perspective and learn how the actors and production team came together to create this play. A live informal Q&A with some members of the cast and production team will bring the day to a close.

THEATRE DAY SCHEDULE
10.30am – An Insight into Rehearsals
In this fun interactive session, our host and the production and creative team of the Othello share and explore a series of moments taken from the production.

11am – A Technical Perspective
Technical demonstrations provide insight into how the shows work technically and how sound, lighting and other technical effects are used to help layer and create different scenes, states and moods.

11.30am – 15 minute break

11.45am – Q&A Session
Our host will be joined by members of the cast and production team to answer your questions about the show.
