Learn more about what goes into making a Made at Curve production at A Chorus Line Theatre Day. Starting with an insight into the rehearsal process with Assistant Director Jennifer Lane Baker. You will then join members of the technical and creative team as they take you through how they built the technical effects that make the show. Finally, you will take part in a Q&A with members of the cast and creative team.

Schedule (subject to change):

10.30am – AN INSIGHT INTO REHEARSALS – Assistant Director Jennifer Lane Baker and members of A Chorus Line cast share some of the exercises and their experiences from the rehearsal room. The company will perform a series of short extracts and illustrate how they developed over time in this fun interactive session.

11.15am – A TECHNICAL PERSPECTIVE – This session will offer an insight into how the show works technically. Join members of the creative and technical team as they demonstrate how the technical effects were created.

12.00pm –  15 min break

12.15pm –  Q & A – Hosted by Assistant Director Jennifer Lane Baker, join members of the cast and creative team for an informal Q&A.

Please note, as of 2 December 2021 all workshop participants over the age of 11 will need to show evidence of a negative lateral flow test (taken within 24 hours) before entering their session. 

This evidence can be demonstrated in one of the following ways:

  • A photo of the test strip
  • The test itself in a clear and secure plastic bag
  • Confirmation of a negative result from the NHS registration via text or email
