Join us on for an exclusive discussion between internationally recognised choreographer Akram Khan and award-winning performer and director Kathryn Hunter.

The interview is part of the My Dance DNA series, a joint initiative between Dance Umbrella and The Space, which sees leading UK choreographers in conversation with respected figures from across the arts. They will talk about the iconic moments of dance and movement on film that have transfixed and transformed Khan, as well as the defining pieces in his own back catalogue of work.

Akram Khan is undoubtedly one of this country’s most celebrated dance artists whose work is performed across the globe. Kathryn Hunter, known for her work with theatre company Complicité as well as countless performances at the National Theatre, will take Khan through his very own Desert Island Discs of dance.

The 60 minute interview and Q&A session will be live streamed.
