Our urban, contemporary and classical festival celebrates the cultural relationship between the UK and the Indian subcontinent and explores the many creative influences generated by our shared and evolving history.

Because sharing great music is like sharing food – it transcends all boundaries. We have musicians from as far afield as Pakistan, India, Italy, Japan and Peru as well as from London.

Multi-instrumentalists Sharoon and Haroon – better known as Leo Twins – captivate audiences across the globe with their original takes on music that goes beyond borders, genres or categories. Let this dynamic duo take you on a journey through qawwali and world music all the way to progressive rock. With an almost dizzying repertoire of instruments and influences, they are able to synthesize sounds with versatility, originality and soulful grace.

Their meteoric rise began in Nescafé Basement in Pakistan, which features which features studio-recorded performances by underground and emerging artists and has led them on world tours with international artists – Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam, Sonu Nigam, Neha Kakkar and Ali Sethi to name a few.

Their music style combines eastern and western musical styles, and the Leo Twins have become known for their qawwali, ghazal and Bollywood instrumental covers and originals, resonating with an audience worldwide. With over 75 million channel views, their music is constantly trending on social media and growing rapidly. Their cover tracks ‘Sayonee, Tumhe Dillagi and Ertugrul’ have all ranked number one on the BBC Asian Network charts.
