Join us for our Eid Community Day!
No need to book, just come along and join the fun from 12pm – 4pm.
You’ll find an exciting selection of free activities here at Curve led by local Muslim artists, including:
- Henna by ZARX HENNA (12pm-4pm)
- Islamic arts and crafts with Ferdous Hussein as part of the Sacred Patterns and Stories Project (12pm-4pm)
- Creative writing workshop with Farhana Shaikh (12pm-12.45pm and 2.45-3.30pm)
- Performance of ‘The Loom Weaver’ by Ridhayatullah Theatre, following the prophet’s daughter, Fatemah (12.30-1pm, 1.30-2pm and 2.30-3pm)
- Arabic calligraphy workshop by Shazia Rashida Osman (1.30pm-2.30pm and 3pm-4pm)
- Sheesha embroidery workshop by The Woven Collective LIAH CIC (1-2pm)
- Nasheeds by Saihaan Islam (2:30-2:45pm)
- ‘See Me’ Exhibition by Fifth Word – a pop-up exhibition featuring the stories of 8 inspirational women of Muslim heritage in Nottingham
