Better Together

Better Together is an intergenerational programme, bringing Senior citizens of the Windrush generation, young migrants and people of Black heritage together to explore migration to the UK. Workshops over the summer will research and record these experiences and allow the participants to get to know each other, compare experiences and develop arts presentations around them.

As a finale to the project a celebration event will be held at Curve with presentations and performances, awards to participants and to launch the web page, and project booklet. The show will also contain performances of African and Caribbean songs, spoken word and more.
