Dance and Divinity: A celebration of Indian classical dance with Nupur Arts

Ānartam celebrates the diversity and vibrancy of Indian classical dance. It is a unique, curated evening of high-quality, live performances at the heart of Leicester.

From Bharatanatyam to Kathak, Kuchipudi to Yakshagana, exceptional artists from around the UK shall showcase what ‘divinity’ means to them through their work.

Ānartam, which first started in 2015 is now in its 9th edition. Curated by Nupur Arts Dance Academy, supported by Curve Theatre, and funded by Arts Council England, this edition is part of Nupur Arts’ first year as a National Portfolio Organisation.
