This is an invite only event for Curve Friends, Supporters and Members.

Taking on one of the most iconic roles in theatre in our production of The Entertainer this August, we’re excited to invite you to a free evening with Shane Richie!

The event will be hosted by Curve’s own Chris Stafford, Chief Executive and Nikolai Foster, Artistic Director.

Playing Archie Rice, the original song and dance man, Shane will be here at Curve on Tue 30 Jul from 7pm.

A washed-up entertainer tackling the Summer season in 1980s Britain, Archie hits the bottle a little too hard and dodges taxes a little too often. As his professional life and personal life collide, there are devasting consequences.

Talking more about his role and the narrative, discover why The Entertainer is said to be one of the greatest plays of the 20th Century and how the production has been given a vibrant new setting and electric new vision.

Alongside his famous role of Alfie Moon in EastEnders, Shane’s previous stage credits include  Hugo/Loco Chanelle in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie (Apollo Theatre); Not Dead Enough (UK Tour) and The Perfect Murder (UK Tour).
