“Oliver! is such a brilliant musical to watch and to perform in. There is an abundance of young talent in Leicester and Leicestershire and this spectacular new production offers the opportunity of auditioning for familiar roles in Fagin’s gang, the workhouse boys, the Artful Dodger and of course, Oliver himself. Boys should be from all nationalities, but must be able to sing and dance really well, plus be fearless in projecting their acting abilities. Many famous actors have started their acting careers in Oliver! So if you think you have got what it takes, apply now!”
Three teams of children are required to join the cast of this fantastic, family show. Junior cast members will need to be available for rehearsals, which will take place on weekends and weeknights (as well as in the autumn half term break at Curve). Each team of children will be scheduled to perform between 2-3 times a week during the show’s run.
Interested parties need to follow the audition guidelines and complete the application information found on Curve’s website www.curveonline.co.uk/get-involved/auditions . Applicants will then be contacted with a date and time slot for their audition.
