This is a FREE event for those who have purchased a West Side Story show ticket.
In partnership, Curve and De Montfort University offer a half day of talks, workshops and discussion around the historical, social and literary context of the iconic West Side Story.
The event is aimed at students, artists, teachers and enthusiasts. The day will have a focus on dance within musical theatre, whilst also having relevance to those interested in literature, drama and performance as a whole.
Our Affiliate Community Group, Kainé specialise in gospel arts through workshops, artist management and events in community and educational settings. We’re delighted to host a variety of Kainé showcases at Curve throughout the year.

Midlands designer Eleanor Field has created the sets for a number of recent Made at Curve productions including Bollywood Jane, Zigger Zagger and Macbeth. As part of our New Work festival, Eleanor's work will once again be seen on stage at Curve with All Of Me, an award-winning show about mental health and what can happen if we sit together in the darkness.
