Description
This year NSDF (National Student Drama Festival) is dedicating the festival week to exploring the new with young theatre makers from the Midlands and across the country.
You are invited to a week of development, mentoring, workshops, masterclasses, and THE best place for young theatre makers to meet new collaborators, peers, friends.
Artist Participant
Across the week you will work with world-class practitioners to develop your craft. You will meet new people and work together to develop a brand-new piece of work (in progress) in a week. You will learn from our associates, each other and invited guests to further your development into the industry.
Technical Participant
You will work with our amazing technical team to develop your technical skills, learning on the job and taking part in workshops from brilliant technicians. You will have the chance to shadow the Curve team as they tech live shows and get to know how the building runs. This experience will equip you to continue developing your skills in technical theatre.
The Week
Days will run from 10am – 6pm with evening activities throughout the week. You will spend the mornings taking part in skills workshops, masterclasses and talks from leading UK Theatre practitioners and companies and the afternoons developing new ideas and possibilities for shows and gaining hands on experience in a working theatre. This is the week to meet your collaborators of the future!
