As well as assisted performances, we offer a range of additional access services to ensure as many people as possible can enjoy the work on our stages.

Available at Box Office soon
If you would like to receive a physical copy of our Large Print, Giant Print or Braille brochures, or a CD of our Audio brochure, please get in touch at [email protected], or call the Box Office team on 0116 242 3595.
All of our public spaces are accessible to wheelchair users, with lift access to the Circle level. We have allocated wheelchair spaces for every performance, both in the Theatre and Studio. If you wish to transfer to a theatre seat, we can store your wheelchair during the performance. To view our wheelchair spaces and transfer seats for the Theatre, please see our Access Seating Plan.
Assistance dog spaces are available upon request; please let us know during the booking process and a seat next to the aisle will be reserved for you. Alternatively, a member of our Visitor Experience Team will care for your dog during the performance.
Accessible parking is available on Southampton Street and in the NCP Rutland Centre Car Park adjacent to Curve; please visit our Getting Here page for other accessible parking options.
We also have a drop-off point on Rutland Street.
Infra-red & Induction Loop Assisted Listening Systems
Assisted listening systems are available in both the Theatre and Studio. If you would like to use the system during your visit, please let our Box Office team know by emailing [email protected], so we can ensure a Stethoset Headphones or a Neck Loop System is available for you to collect prior to the performance.
Recite Me Assistive Toolbar (online only)
We believe everyone should be able to access high quality arts and culture, both on and off Curve’s stages. We are proud to offer the Recite Me assistive toolbar across our website, to ensure the entire online experience is more accessible and personal for every visitor.
The toolbar includes both screen reader and translation facilities, plus reading and styling tools to support all visitors in customising the website to their individual needs.
To launch the toolbar, click the pink button with a white figurine in the bottom right corner of your screen. The toolbar will then appear at the top of the page. For more details about Recite Me, please click here.
