Other Services

As well as assisted performances, we offer a range of additional access facilities and services to ensure as many people as possible can enjoy the work on our stages.

Wheelchair Spaces
All of our public spaces are accessible to wheelchair users, with lift access to the Circle level. We have allocated wheelchair spaces for every performance, both in the Theatre and Studio Theatre. If you wish to transfer to a theatre seat, we can store your wheelchair during the performance.

Assistance Dogs
Assistance dog spaces are available upon request; please let us know during the booking process and a seat next to the aisle will be reserved for you. Alternatively, a member of our Visitor Experience Team can care for your dog during the performance.

Accessible Parking
Accessible parking is available on Southampton Street and in the NCP Rutland Centre Car Park adjacent to Curve; please visit our Getting Here page for other accessible parking options.

We also have a drop-off point on Rutland Street.

Booster Seats
Booster seats are available in all performance spaces, and can be collected at the door stated on your ticket once the house is open.

Buggy Park
Pushchairs and prams can be stored in our designated Buggy Parks during the performance. For performances in the Theatre or Studio Theatre, the Buggy Park can be found opposite Studio Theatre Door 5, on the glass side of the building. For performances in Rehearsal Room 2, a Buggy Park will be set up on the Mezzanine, accessible via the Public Lift next to Theatre Door 3.

Recite Me Assistive Toolbar (online only)
We believe everyone should be able to access high quality arts and culture, both on and off Curve’s stages. We are proud to offer the Recite Me assistive toolbar across our website, to ensure the entire online experience is more accessible and personal for every visitor.

The toolbar includes both screen reader and translation facilities, plus reading and styling tools to support all visitors in customising the website to their individual needs.

To launch the toolbar, click the red button with a white figurine in the bottom right corner of your screen. The toolbar will then appear at the top of the page. For more information about Recite Me, please click here.

Access performances at Curve are kindly sponsored by Hotel Brooklyn, Leicester and David Wilson Homes.
