CURVE TO RECRUIT NEW TRUSTEES

Tue 2 Sep 2014

Leicester’s Curve theatre, one of the country’s leading producing theatres, is seeking to recruit new Trustees to join its Board.

In a period of exciting change for the theatre, the Leicester Theatre Trust Ltd – the charity that governs Curve – is seeking to fulfil vacancies arising between now and Autumn 2015.

Chair of Leicester Theatre Trust, Prof Philip Tasker commented:

“With several Trustees coming to the end of their terms, this a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an organisation recognised nationally and internationally as one of the UK’s leading producing theatres. It is a particularly exciting time to join the organisation which continues to grow as a significant business and destination and to help play a part in developing the cultural life of our city and county.”

Applicants should have an active interest in Curve, with established, high level contacts across Leicester and Leicestershire, and be willing to take an active role in Curve’s charitable fundraising and development endeavours

Candidates must be passionate about the city and county, be an opinion leader and influencer and able to act as an ambassador for Curve. To ensure a representative balance on the Board, applications from women, younger people and those from BME communities are encouraged.

Deadline for applications is Wednesday 24 September with interviews to be held on Wednesday 8 October.
