Earlier this month Curve announced the cast and creative team joining the upcoming Made at Curve production of Billy Elliot the Musical. In the latest episode of Curve in Conversation listeners can go behind-the-scenes of a recent rehearsal session, hearing exclusive interviews with West End and Broadway legend Sally Ann Triplett (Mrs. Wilkinson), Choreographer Lucy Hind, and young company members, as they prepare for what’s set to be the theatre event of the Summer, right here in Leicester.

May 2022 also sees the return of Let’s Dance International Frontiers (LDIF), and in this episode Pawlet Brookes MBE, CEO and Artistic Director of Curve Associate company Serendipity, talks about the history of the acclaimed festival and what audiences can expect from this year’s programme.
LDIF showcases high quality dance that celebrates diversity and intersectional identities. Taking place at venues across Leicester from 29 April – 8 May, shows at Curve include Signatures and Black British Dance Platform (Wednesday 4 May) and performances from renowned Latinx dance organisation Ballet Hispánico (Friday 6 – Saturday 7 May).
