Audio Described Performances with Touch Tours
During these performances, audio describers provide a live, verbal commentary on key visual aspects of the show for audience members who are Blind or partially sighted. The description is presented via a personal headset, and includes an audio introduction to the show before the performance starts.
To reserve a headset, please contact our Box Office team in advance by emailing [email protected], or by calling the team on 0116 242 3595. Headsets will be available for collection from the Box Office prior to the performance.
Touch Tours
An accompaniment to audio described performances, Touch Tours are a tactile tour of the stage allowing audience members who are Blind or partially sighted greater access to the performance. Tours usually take place 90 minutes (or earlier) prior to the start of an Audio Described Performance.
To reserve your place on our Touch Tours, please contact our Box Office team in advance by emailing [email protected], or by calling the team on 0116 242 3595.
