Local young performers aged from 12 – 26 years will be taking centre stage at Leicester’s Curve theatre this summer to present two of Shakespeare’s finest stories; The Tempest and Howard Goodall’s enchanting musical The Dreaming, a magical retelling of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Curve is inviting the people of Leicester and Leicestershire to take part in its 5th Birthday Celebrations this autumn, as the theatre marks its first big milestone with a full programme of festivities and events.
Leicester’s Curve theatre is celebrating its 5th Birthday this Autumn and has announced a packed programme for the season ahead – with five of Curve’s own productions and co-productions forming the centrepiece of the celebrations.
Leicester’s Curve theatre will be host to the Federation of Small Business’ (FSB) Annual Conference this week from 21 – 23 March 2013.
Visitors are being invited to join in and experience Leicester’s rich and diverse cultural heritage at Curve this year as part of the theatre’s on-going Community Engagement Programme.
One of Curve’s new Affiliate Community Groups, 2Funky Arts, will be presenting a newly devised work Words Without Weapons at a free event on the Foyer Stage this Saturday 16 March at 5.15pm.
Curve Business Club has made a great start to 2013, welcoming latest members The Phoenix Partners, MGC Hayles, Dominoes Toy Store and RBS, and announcing an exclusive series of networking events.
