Curve Community Company

Curve Community Company (CCC) is an exciting new group for anyone aged over 19 who would like to work with other like-minded adults to create a new original production for a Summer performance at Curve.

The group is open to anyone with some experience in performing – be it Acting, Musical Theatre, Dance, or Music. We will form an ensemble drawing on the different skills of the group to devise and rehearse a cross-artform performance piece.

Rather than working on an existing script, the group will research Leicester specific stories to create a new performance with local interest. This could be anything – a response to the city now, an adaptation of a historical story, an imagining of the future – the group and their Director will work together to decide and devise the production.

A number of full or half bursaries are available.

When are applications open?

Applications for CCC are currently closed. We will be relaunching our Curve Community Company later in 2022, more information on how to apply will be available here.
