Sleeping Beauty Day for Dance Practitioners

Morning workshop 11.00am – 1.45pm followed by a ticket to the matinee performance at 2.15pm.

The workshop will be led by two New Adventures dancers and Resident Artists providing participants with an increased understanding of the work, by giving them a unique creative experience that unlocks the process of dance-theatre making and provides a unique insight into the exceptional world of New Adventures.

The workshop will consist of a contemporary dance warm-up, Repertoire – an opportunity to learn sections from the production. Choreography – Participants will use themes and issues from the production as inspiration for choreographing their own work under the guidance of New Adventure’s dancers.

The workshop finishes with a sharing where the participants perform and critique their work together and finally a Q&A which gives the participants an opportunity to ask about the background of the company, the repertoire and the performers.
