CURVE ANNOUNCED AS FINALIST IN THE UK EVENT AWARDS 2015
Leicester’s Curve theatre has been announced as a finalist for the Best Events Space in the prestigious Events Awards 2015. This year’s awards have attracted a record number of entries of a very high calibre and Curve’s shortlisting is recognition of its solid reputation as an impressive and flexible corporate events space.

Curve, located in the heart of Leicester’s bustling Cultural Quarter, close to the train station and with easy access to the M1 motorway, is able to offer a range of unique and flexible spaces tailored to meet clients’ specific needs. Its two theatres and stage can be opened out into one unique space or used as three individual areas or in combination. These spaces are ideal for large-scale conferences, product launches, exhibitions and ceremonies and offer a maximum combined capacity of 1,150.
Curve also offers five meeting rooms that are perfect for smaller events such as workshops, seminars, small conferences, breakout spaces, product launches, team-building events and meetings. Meeting rooms have flexible capacities ranging from 60-200 whilst the stunning 98m Mezzanine space, overlooking the main foyer, is the ideal location for small exhibitions, drinks receptions, conference breakout spaces or informal networking and has a capacity of 300.
The events team takes great pride in ensuring that every event, regardless of size, is an enjoyable and memorable occasion for all involved and has hosted high profile, commercial events for companies including Virgin Management, De Montfort University, IBM and the Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB).

Judges of the Events awards will convene in early September to discuss finalists’ entries in more detail and settle on a winner which will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at the Eventim Apollo, London on Wednesday, 14 October.
