Curve is proud to announce the world-première Made at Curve production of Memoirs of an Asian Football Casual, coming to Leicester from 26th September – 6th October 2018.
Schools and families from across Leicestershire have enjoyed special Matilda the Musical events at Curve around the theatre’s latest Family Day.
The workshops, sponsored by confectionary brand Poppets, were based on the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Roald Dahl's Matilda, which opened its UK and Ireland tour at Curve 15 Mar.
Set to unfold within two of the UK’s last remaining traditional sari shops, Rasa Theatre and Contact present HANDLOOMS, written by Rani Moorthy and directed by Alan Lane (Slung Low). Exploring the sari from a rarely-taken male perspective, this immersive performance will be performed inside working businesses Alankar House of Sarees in the heart of Manchester’s Curry Mile and Anokhi House of Sarees in Leicester to give audiences a close encounter with a world that is slowly dying out.
