Are you interested in discovering the space between performance and experience?
Over the course of the next year the CYC Devised group will be holding weekly sessions to develop ideas and experiment with multiple forms as we attempt to create processes for devising original works of theatrical performance.
We will be examining the relationship between process and product and exploring the differences between theatre performer and theatre maker.
Expect cross-form collaboration, playful improvisation and guest sessions from some of the countries most exciting contemporary practitioners.
Monday’s 6pm -9pm starting from the 3rd Oct.
Workshop auditions will take place on the 5, 12, 19 & 26 of Sep.
Cost: £60 a term bursary places are available.
Our CYC Kids group will teach valuable skills in drama, dance and singing. The 12-week course will culminate in an end of term performance on the set of one of Curve’s main stages.
These sessions will run throughout term time and places are available for both morning and afternoon groups.
Saturday’s – 10.30am – 12pm

Children may also be required to perform as part of Curve’s Family Day on Sat 17 Dec.

Come join us for 6 weeks of farcical incidents, broad puns, nonsense dialogue and unconventional comic turns as we create original monologues for performance at locations across the city.
Taking inspiration from Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy and drawing on themes of social media, mistaken identity and misadventure this project is perfect for anyone who has ever thought about becoming someone else.

Our exciting young Musical Theatre group will be run by West End Star Sarah Ingram, (recently stared in Legally Blonde & The Witches).
Over the course of 12 weeks participants will develop skills and understanding in all aspects of musical theatre and prepare performance work for a nonstop, rip-roaring end of term showcase.
Expect joyful harmonies, comedic character creation and dynamic dance routines.
Sundays throughout the term:
