Foyer Stage

A stage for the artists in our community installed at the heart of our unique building, the Curve Foyer Stage is the space where we showcase the region’s budding talent. Over the past year, the stage has been graced by acts as varied as burlesque superstar Eliza DeLite, the Bollywood dancers from Curve’s Affiliate Community Group Nupur Arts, and local comedians Unidentified Flying Improv. All Foyer Stage events are free.

GET INVOLVED

The Foyer Stage is open to applications from groups and individuals, offering you the chance to perform in the heart of Leicester’s vibrant cultural quarter. Selected acts will be given a slot on the foyer stage, usually before or after a Curve theatre performance. Whilst we will expect you to cover your own expenses, your performance will give you the opportunity to play to a potential audience of up to 1000 people. Curve will provide technical operators on the day and promote your performance through our social media networks.

Leicester-born international Club DJ and star of 2Funky Radio and Break London, DJ El-Vishio, fronts a post-show set of hip-hop and R&B with an Asian garage twist.
