Curve’s networking events, hosted within our iconic city venue, offer a unique experience for Leicestershire businesses to share in, and be inspired by, our exhilaratingly creative environment. Our goal is to forge relationships, build enthusiasm, exchange ideas and, above all, to provide useful networking opportunities for our diverse business community.

25 April. Hot Stuff backstage tour. 12:00 to 2pm

Come and join our knowledgeable guide for a tour backstage of the Curve production Hot Stuff! Our technical director will share his experience (as well as a couple stories) and reveal the behind the scene secrets that bring such a production to life. Come and join us on stage, experience the technical wizardry first hand, and see the world from the actors’ perspective.

14 May. The power to influence. 7:45am – 9:30 am

In business we negotiate with others over a range of mediums e.g. presentations, one to one meetings; but any proposal is only as good as the businesses ability to persuade others to adopt it. This breakfast session will look at the art of influencing, identify behaviours, and touch upon proven business and theatrical techniques for persuading and influencing others.

10 July. YAE year two. 12:00 – 14:00

Curve B2B is delighted to be able to welcome Year 2 members of the Young Arts Entrepreneurs. This lunchtime event will showcase this community engagement project that works with young budding entrepreneurs looking to turn their creative ideas into enterprise. Members from the Young Arts Entrepreneurs will once again provide a taster from their current projects and will be on hand to share their business experiences and answer questions.

12 September. Arts based training. 8:00 – 9:30

The arts are a powerful training tool as they can engage with professionals outside their normal sphere of activity. Communication, presentation, and team building skills are all highly developed areas used every day in theatre performances and rehearsals. Come join us for a breakfast taster of Arts Based Training that will foster your creativity and leave you inspired for the day ahead. Creativity is inherent in all of us; we just sometimes need a little help to think outside the box.
