Christmas Campaign 2012

Thank you to everybody who supported our first Curve Cares Christmas Campaign 2012 in partnership with Age UK Leicester Shire and Rutland. With your support, we were thrilled to reach a fundraising total of £1,889. This enabled us to bring over 50 elderly people at risk of social isolation into Curve to see our Christmas production of Hello Dolly. Your support really does make a difference.
 
They are still talking about it now and you cannot imagine the difference this has made to their lives. The opportunity you have given for them to come to the theatre is one they would never have thought possible.

John Richardson - Musgrove Day Centre

In the last 12 months over 16,000 people of all ages and abilities have experienced Curve through exciting workshops, in-depth backstage tours, interactive projects. Donations the charity receives help to support this work.
 
In addition to our Christmas Campaign, Curve recently held its first Teachers’ Network meeting with English and Performing Arts teachers representing 20 city and county secondary schools. Other recent projects include: Young Arts Entrepreneurs, our community production of Oliver!, Little Curve Little Movers sessions for under 5’s, the extension of the Curve Young Company drop in sessions, and an over 55s dance course facilitated by two of our Young Arts Entrepreneurs graduates.

Name A Seat

Seat plaques are a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion, remember a remarkable person or as a gift for the theatre-lover in your life. Make you mark at Curve by having a seat plaque with your message of up to 30 characters on a seat of your choice (where available) in our main auditorium for 10 years.
