The team at Curve are continually looking for ways to engage children and young people and their teachers in what's on at the theatre - providing a range of exciting things to do - whilst enhancing the cultural and creative offer both at Curve and in local schools and colleges.
Behind the Scenes Careers Days – Years 9 and 10
This is an interactive day designed to give Year 9 and Year 10 students and staff the opportunity to meet and work alongside our professional team who work behind the scenes at Curve. The event includes a full building tour and introduces young people to skills in; lighting, prop making, casting and marketing, to inspire the next generation of theatre makers
Our workshops at Curve are designed to open up the world of theatre - get behind what's on stage, and to reveal the hidden process of a rehearsal room. This unique range of things to do for kids, are linked to our visiting and in-house productions and are run by the creative practitioners at the centre of the work.
The aim of any given workshop is to enable people of all ages to engage more deeply with the artists, subject matter and theatrical processes in our artistic programme.
