Following Curve’s most successful Christmas season on record, with Grease and The Twits entertaining over 65,000 people to date, we are delighted to announce two new Made at Curve productions for Autumn & Winter 2017 : Andrew Lloyd Webber, Don Black & Christopher Hampton’s Sunset Boulevard 16-30 September 2017 and Leslie Bricusse’s family musical Scrooge 18 November 2017 – 07 January 2018.
With smash hit productions of Grease and The Twits wowing audiences at Curve this Christmas, Curve’s Chief Executive Chris Stafford and Artistic Director Nikolai Foster are thrilled to announce the release of tickets for five new shows for 2017.
Due to gloriumptious audience demand, Curve is delighted to not only announce an additional five performances of Roald Dahl’s The Twits, the classic tale will also embark on a UK tour in 2017.
Ahead of their conference 40 Years On: The Arts Britain Ignores and Diversity in British Theatre examining cultural diversity in UK theatre, Curve are delighted to announce the Curve Cultural Leadership Programme for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnicity cultural managers, artists and early career leaders in Leicester and Leicestershire.
Curve has been shortlisted for The Renee Stepham Award for Best Presentation of Touring Theatre at the prestigious UK Theatre Awards.
Following the receipt of the UK Theatre Promotion of Diversity Award, Curve is to host a national conference exploring diversity in UK theatre and the current landscape for BAME artists, companies and audiences.
Curve is delighted to announce that Cameron Mackintosh’s acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schönberg’s legendary musical Miss Saigon - a recent smash hit in the West End - will embark on a major UK tour opening at Curve from Monday 3 July 2017.
